My mission

Personalised, English-speaking midwifery support for expat families in Italy, helping you feel less overwhelmed and more confident throughout pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.

Every pregnancy is different. You bring your own hopes, questions, and expectations into it. And while your body is doing something incredible, growing a new life, there isn’t one “right” way to feel about that.

Some people like to stay practical, others get carried away by how special it all is. Most are somewhere in between. Whatever your way is, it is valid. This is your experience, and it should feel like yours.

Pregnancy can be beautiful, but also uncertain. You can read, prepare, ask questions, and still not feel fully ready. That is normal. So much of it cannot be planned in advance, and that is part of it too.

It is also normal to feel a mix of emotions. Excited one moment, worried the next. Many parents-to-be feel exactly the same, even if they do not always say it out loud.

That is why it helps to have people around you who feel safe. People you can talk to honestly, who are there for the good moments and the harder ones too.

Being pregnant in a different country can make things feel even more intense. A new language, a different healthcare system, unfamiliar routines, it can all feel a bit overwhelming at times.

This is where I come in. As a midwife, I support you from both a professional and personal perspective. My role is to guide you in a way that fits your needs, whether that is practical information, emotional reassurance, or simply having someone by your side who understands what you are going through.

If you have questions, feel free to reach out. I am here to help you find clarity, calm, and a bit more confidence along the way.
